Denis Getsios

Board Advisor

Denis joined the board as an advisor following the acquisition of BresMed by Arsenal Capital Partners in February 2020.

Denis Getsios has worked in the field of health economics, with a particular emphasis on modelling and analytics, for almost 25 years. Denis has worked in numerous therapeutic areas using wider variety of modelling methods, including discrete event simulation, Markov modelling, Monte Carlo simulations, survival partition analysis and other innovative techniques for assessing the health and economic impact of medical technologies.

Most recently, Denis served on the executive team of Evidera as Vice President, Evidence Synthesis, Modeling & Communication leading a team of over 150 scientists. Prior to that, he held a number of management and senior research positions at Evidera, United BioSource Corporation and Caro Research. Denis studied Economics at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and Community Health & Epidemiology at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada.

Denis has authored numerous publications and presented at both national and international conferences. He has published in peer-reviewed journals such as Neurology, Value in Health, PharmacoEconomics, PLoS ONE, and Clinical Therapeutics and has also co-authored a number of review papers in the area of pharmacoeconomics. He has served as a reviewer for a several journals including Applied Health Economics & Health Policy, Expert Review of Pharmacoeconomics & Outcomes Research, Pharmacoeconomics, Drugs, Clinical Drug Investigation, and the American Journal of Geriatric Pharmacotherapy.
