Ankush Taneja

Ankush joined the BresMed Systematic Review team in 2016. He has an MSc in Pharmacy from the University of Delhi, India. Ankush started his career at HERON Health (a Parexel company), where he worked for more than 5 years, before moving to Novartis in Strategic Evidence Development and later becoming a consultant in the Real-World Evidence Team at IMS Health (IQVIA),

While at HERON, Ankush gained skills in proposals writing, protocols, search strategies, screening of evidence, data extraction and quality control, conducting indirect and mixed treatment comparisons across STATA, WinBugs, SAS etc. While at Novartis he worked primarily on market access and pricing and reimbursement, as well as gaining additional experience in global value dossiers, conference abstracts and posters.

At BresMed, Ankush leads a team of systematic reviewers and is responsible for the technical quality of projects, the team, project efficiency, proposal scoping and accuracy of the Systemic Literature Review division. He has been actively involved in conducting a high number of systematic and targeted literature reviews to support health technology assessment submissions in markets globally. He brings a strong understanding of the fundamental principles in oncology (breast cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer, prostate cancers, haematological cancers etc) and experience across a range of other disease areas, including multiple sclerosis, infectious diseases, rare diseases, mental health and cardiac disease.
